Meeting Rooms for Assistants
The Department provides us with meeting rooms for face-​to-face discussions, project meetings, Zoom meetings, etc. Currently, the following offices are available as meeting rooms: HG J 56, HG J 57, HG J 59. You can check the occupancy of the rooms and make reservations using the online reservation tool.

Seminar Rooms
There are two seminar rooms (HG G 19.1 large and HG G 19.2 small), the Hermann-Weyl-Zimmer (HG G 43) and the common room (HG G 69), which can be booked by members of D-MATH in IntraMATH.

IT Support Group
ISG takes care of all issues related to IT. They can be found in their office in HG G 32.1 and are open every day between 9:00-12:30 and 13:30-16:00.

Zurich Graduate School in Mathematics
The ZGSM is the joint doctoral program of the Department of Mathematics at ETH (D-MATH) and the Institute of Mathematics at UZH (I-MATH). ZGSM offers a broad graduate program in mathematics and its applications, consisting of graduate courses, workshops, and retreats.

New Employees
The ETH Zurich Welcome Center offers help to its new employees, specifically if you come from another country.

AVETH (The Association of Scientific Staff at ETH)
AVETH stands for Akademische Vereinigung des Mittelbaus der ETH which translates to academic association for the scientific staff at ETH. Scientific staff includes scientific assistants, doctoral students, postdocs and even senior scientists! The elected board of AVETH consists of volunteers who organize the political representation of the scientific staff at ETH, bring people together by holding a variety of events and offer counseling and other services for AVETH’s members.
